Guinevere Govea
is a multihyphenate performer, writer, composer, and audio storyteller from Houston, Texas. Her musicals have been produced at regional and educational theaters, and have won several accolades including a semi-finalist spot at the O'Neill National Musical Theatre Conference and a B. Iden Payne Award for Outstanding Original Script. Guinevere is also known for her brilliant performance skills, and was awarded Best Actress at the ATX Short Film Fest in 2022. With her art, Guinevere hopes to uplift and inspire others through whimsical, heartfelt, and occasionally spooky works. Guinevere holds a B.A. in Theatre and Dance as well as a Bachelor’s in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin. You can call her Gwenny.
